The Lady Cats’ volleyball team got off to a fine start Friday at home against Greenville winning the first set impressively. However the Lady Lions turned things around and captured three straight sets to win the match, 3-1. The Lady Cats slip to 1-8 in district play and 13-18 for the season. The Lady Cats have lost seven straight matches. The Lady Cats lone district win was at Greenville back on September 16. The Lady Cats will host a strong Longview team Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. in Wildcats Gym.
The Lady Cats’ volleyball team has their hands full this week as they attempt to stop a seven match losing streak. The Lady Cats host two of the district’s top teams. Longview comes to town Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. while Hallsville visits Friday at 4:30 p.m. Last Friday the Lady Cats lost to Greenville, 3-1 in Wildcats Gym.
