Earnestine Rebecca Hamilton

Funeral service for Earnestine Rebecca Hamilton, 91, of Mesquite, formerly of Emory, will be held Wednesday afternoon, 2:00 pm, Oct. 15, 2014, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Emory City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, one hour prior to service time.

Mrs. Hamilton died Sunday, October 12, in Cambridge Court Assisted Living, in Mesquite. She was born March 18, 1923, in Manchester, to Elonzo and Hazel Martin Greer. Later she married Floyd Hamilton in Paris. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Emory.
Survivors include: Daughter: Janie Harris (Ottis) of Mesquite, Grandchildren: Ben Allen Caudle, Christie Wright, Jason Bradley Harris, and Matthew Harris, Great-Grandchild: Kaci Johnson, Preceded in death by: parents, 1son, Jimmy Allen Caudle in 1994; husband, Floyd Hamilton in 2006; 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
