Senior Pageant
Clydene Fielden was chosen as Ms. Hopkins County Senior Classic at a Pageant Saturday evening at Church of the Nazarene. The 82-year old Ms. Fielden also took Best Talent as she had the audience laughing out loud as she told a story of an elderly person receiving a one week membership at a health club. Enola Gay Mathews was first runner up and also Ms. Congeniality. Fay Robinson, the oldest contestant at 90 was second runner up and also took Best Interview. Aliece Hanselka won Evening Gown, Lavonne Elam won Best Personality and Elizabeth Wilburn got Best Philosophy of Life.
