Funeral Services for Ruth Juandine Taylor Massey, age 82 of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Murray-Orwosky Chapel with Rev Byron George officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery with Dusty Davis, Jeff Murray, Austan Davis, Jacoby Smith, Shane Russom, Cristie Massey and Massey Davis serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, June 25 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Ruth Jaundine Taylor Massey died on Monday, June 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born on July 6, 1931, the daughter of George W. Washington and Bessie Sherwood Taylor in Wood County, TX. She married E.J. Massey on March 27, 1948 in Yantis. He preceded her in death in 1994.She was a member of the Salem Church of Christ. Survivors included: son, Larry Don Massey of Sulphur Sprngs; daughters; Mary Loveless and husband, Olan of Grand Saline and Judy Causey and husband, Tim of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Cristie Massey, Victoria Massey Smith, Shane Russom, Dusty Davis and Cheby Murray; great grandchildren, Jessica Woodson, Tabith J. Murray, Morgan Russom, Massey, Austan, Gracie, Conner, and Dustan Davis, Kaden, Kaitlynn, Kenzie, Kylie and Ely Murray, Braydon, Deacon and Codi Smith. She was preceded in death by: grandson, Cody Don Massey; four brothers, Odie Taylor, Ottis Taylor, G.W. Taylor, R.D. Taylor; five sisters, Martha Collier, Faye Bumnell, Bonnie Burnett, Pauline Hill and Mayflower Taylor.
