Life has been a little crazy lately for Dairy Festival Queen Kennedy Potts with the prom, graduation and Dairy Festival coming up one right after the other. After she gives up her crown at Saturday evening’s Pageant at the Civic Center Auditorium, Kennedy plans to enjoy the summer and then to enroll at Texas A&M-College Station in the fall. Her future plans are to become a pediatric psychologist to help children with problems. At the Pageant, she’ll sing “Let It Go” from Frozen. Kennedy says she is letting go of a lot at this time in her life but she says she is happy about it and the challenges ahead. She expects to experience a lot of different emotions Saturday night.
