Glenda “Sissie” Burns Barnett

Memorial services for Glenda “Sissie” Burns Barnett, age 79, of Sulphur Spring will be at 1:00pm on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs, in the Spence Chapel. Mrs. Barnett passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at her home in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Mrs. Barnett was born January 28, 1935 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Everett “Preacher” Alexander and Willie Lou Burns. Mrs. Barnett was married to Wayne Barnett on December 24, 1957 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She is survived by her: son Eric Barnett of Bridgeport, TX; daughter Cindy and husband Kenneth Frost of North Richland Hills, TX; brother E.A. “Junior” Burns of Mabank, TX; grandsons Justin and wife Andye Frost of Haslett, Ryan Barnett; grand daughters; Shelly Frost of North Richland Hills,TX, Madison and Ava Barnett, and great grand daughters Houston Frost and Blakely Badger. Mrs. Barnett is preceded in death by her parents and sister Betty Martin.
