City Manager Update 06/06/14

Work on a fountain in a plaza on the south side of new City Hall has been a focus this week according to Sulphur Springs City Manager Marc Maxwell. Maxwell says when completed it will be an elegant fountain where water will cascade from one bowl to another. Maxwell says the City Hall plaza can be used for events, such as small weddings, with or without the large meeting room at new City Hall. Maxwell says the Saltillo School District has booked new City Hall’s meeting room for a Prom next year. Maxwell envisions lots of possible uses for the meeting room and the plaza. He says if someone wants to book the new City Hall meeting room with or without the plaza, contact him at City Hall.
