Funeral services for Marshal Hammond Clark, age 83, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2009, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Danny Waldron, Hashem Rezaie, Bruce Roberts, Matt Keifer, Brooks Roberts and Clark Keifer serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Spencer and Billy Price.
Mr. Clark passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Clark was born on September 19, 1925 in Blossom, Texas the son of Ed and Imogene Buchanan Clark. He married Jane Upchurch in Paris, Texas in 1946 and she preceded him in death in 1984.
Mr. Clark founded Crystal Feed Mill in 1979. He served as the CEO for 30 years working until his passing. He serviced in the United States Navy during WWII and Korea. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs. Mr. Clark was an avid golfer and man who loved his family. He was a wonderful father and grandfather.
Survivors include four daughters, Pam Waldron and husband Danny of Sulphur Springs, Marsha Rezaie and husband Hashem of Carrollton, Kim Roberts and husband Bruce of Sulphur Springs and Kristen Keifer and husband Matt of Rockwall, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Bill Bradley Clark in 1997 and one brother, Bill Clark.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
