FM 69 Bridge Closure in Hopkins County

The Texas Department of Transportation and its Contractor, East Texas Bridge and Road have closed a portion of FM 69 in Hopkins County. This bridge closure is a result of recent flooding which has created unsafe driving conditions in the work zone of the Crosstimber Creek bridge currently under construction.

This bridge is located approximately 4 miles North of FM 1537 near the community of Dike. This bridge closure is expected to last through the week of February 13, 2012. In the meantime a detour is being established that will re-route FM 69 traffic around the bridge closure via FM 1537, FM 3236, and FM 71. The public is requested to exercise caution and to obey all traffic control signs and devices while traveling in this area.
