Friday the thirteenth turned out to be lucky for Judson Weaver. Weaver made a hole in one on hole #4 at Sulphur Springs Country Club during the annual Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament. Weaver won $500 donated by Craig Johnson with Edward Jones.
Catocon’s team was the low net winner and Rock Creek Health and Rehab won low gross. Thirty-six teams in all played, ten in the morning and twenty-six after noon.
On top of everything else, Chamber President Meredith Caddell said the weather was wonderful.
