Funeral services for David Hickman, age 60, of Cumby will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 26. 2012. Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery, with Travis Furguson, Mike Furguson, Martin Allain, Chris Taliaferro, Marvin O’Pry and Dennis Harmon serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
David Hickman passed away Thursday morning, April 19, 2012 in Arlington, Wyoming. He was born in Wylie, Texas on January 19, 1952, the son of Garland Hickman and Mildred (White) Hickman. He married Glenda Kaye Furguson in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 6, 2000; she survives.
He was a truck driver for U.P.S. and he was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: son, Travis Furguson of Cumby; two sisters, Joy Lovelace of Fairfield and Geneva Williams of Whitewright and brother, Roger Hickman of Long Beach, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Wayne Hickman, Glen Hickman and Leo Hickman.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
