Ray Middleton, 81, of Emory, passed away February 3, 2013 at his residence. Funeral service is 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 06, 2013 at Believers Baptist Church. Officiating will be Bro. Jason Rolen . Interment at Turner Cemetery following the service.
Ray was born in Childress on November 08, 1931 to Ernest Zelmer and Mary Elizabeth Cranford Middleton. He married Ruth Gordon 61 years ago on June 21, 1952 in Emory.
He served in the US Army from 1952 to 1954. Ray was a truck driver for many years with Southwestern Transportation Trucking Company.He had also worked for the City of Emory with the Water Department. Ray coached for 15 years in Mesquite for the Little League Baseball Association.

Gowins, Josh Gowins, Mandy Branum, Joe Middleton, Zachery Middleton Great-Grandchildren: Cole Watson, Taylor Watson, Blaine Watson, Bailey Watson, Brooklyn Watson, Addie Gowins, Bailey Gowins, Kale Branum, Kiley Branum, Natalie Middleton, Clayton Ellis, Baby Boy to be born in March, and a Baby Girl to be born in July. Numerous other loving family and friends.
