L. B. Luckett, age 72 of Emory, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012. Service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 22 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Leo Trimble. Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home. Internment will be at Smyrna Cemetery.
L.B. was born November 29, 1939 in Dallas, to Clifford and Eura Mae Barker Luckett.
He was a graduate of Rains High School.
Survivors: Brother: James Luckett and wife Mary Helen of Emory; Sister: Judy Cooke of Emory; Children: 4, Grandchildren: 6, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Bryan Luckett, Paul Bradshaw, Danny Fenter, Nolan House, Randy Barker, Billy Mac Adair, and Charles Luckett
Preceded by: His parents; 2 sisters: Patricia Easley and Bobbie Belue; 1 brother Joe Pat Luckett.
