Funeral services for Geraldine “Jerry” Fatheree Renshaw, age 79, of Emory will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Emory with Rev. Robert Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Turner Cemetery with her grandsons Shawn Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong, Matt Brown, Kevin Douglas, Zane Brown and Heath Sisk serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home and from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Emory prior to service time.
Jerry passed away Tuesday, January 08, 2013 at Country Trails Care Center in Grand Saline. She was born on February 16, 1933 in Ginger, TX, the daughter of Roscoe Veech and Etta Mae (Gordon) Fatheree.
Jerry was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Emory.
She is survived by her mother of 62 years Mary Jo Fatheree, children, Karan Coleman and husband Mike of Emory, Belinda Renshaw of Whitehouse, Paula Brown and husband Dan of Sulphur Springs, Darren Renshaw and wife Sheila of Emory, grandchildren, Keri Bangs, Kristi Sisk, Kevin Douglas, Shawn Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong, Matt Brown, Zane Brown, Kayla Renshaw and Kadee Renshaw, great-grandchildren, Kyra McGinty, Kylar McGinty, Krislynn McGinty, Kash Sisk, Kolt Sisk, Hunter Armstrong and Lauren Armstrong.
"She was preceded in death by her parents and the father of her children, Leon M. Renshaw.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oak Funeral Home.
