Catherina Elizabeth Wilhelmina de Haer Stone, beloved wife of Lonnie Stone passed away November 25, 2012.
Cathy was born in Den Hague, Holland and moved to Luxemburg, Luxemburg in 1954 to work for the European Coal and Steel Community. Cathy and Lonnie got married in 1956 by the mayor of Luxemburg. Upon the completion of Lonnie's military duty, they moved to Louisiana and several other cities throughout Texas.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Lonnie, son, Dennis W.W. Stone, daughter in law, Patty Stone, grand daughters, Stephanie Houser, husband Wes Houser and Lauren Stone and great grand daughter, Aubrey Houser. In addition she is survived by her sister, Elisabeth Josephine de Haer from Groningen, the Netherlands, nephew, Franciscus Wilhelmus Lambertus van der Kruik from Dren, the Netherlands and his wife Gerdina van der Kruik Planken.
Cathy was known by her friends and family as a great wife, outstanding mother and a loving person.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 3:00 pm at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home, 803 N. Texas, Emory, Texas.
Interment at Emory City Cemetery.
