Maurice Abner Meals, age 94, was born August 7, 1917 and departed this life on April 4, 2012.
Maurice was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Nolen Meals and his parents.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Gail and Bill Sachs, son Joe Meals, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Union Chapel Cemetery in East Texas.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
