Funeral services for Ragine (Starrett) Moore, age 92, of Reilly Springs, will be Friday, November 9, 2012 at Tapp Funeral Home with visitation at 10am and services at 11am. Interment will follow in City Cemetery.
Ragine (Starrett) Moore was born November 22, 1919 in Hopkins County the daughter of Ed and Sally Nugent. She married Don Dempsey who preceded her in death in 1944, then later married Marion Eugene Moore who also preceded her in death in 1981.
Mrs. Moore was retired from teaching at Houston Independent School District and was a member of Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston, serving in the prayer and international ministries.
Mrs. Moore passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012 after a brief illness.
Survivors include, daughters, Marian Faucett and husband, Jim; Donna Golemi, and husband, Frank; grandchildren Rob Faucett, Elizabeth Hancock and husband, Shea, Lisa Every and husband, Nathan; great-grandchildren Emma Every, Oliver Every, and Brooks Hancock; sister-in-law Ada Starrett; nieces Elizabeth Williams, Peggy Wright, Laura Bogard, and nephew Steve Starrett.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Robbie Attlesey McKenzie, James Starrett, and Howard Starrett.
