A memorial service for Helen Ruth Dixon Bates, age 74, of West Tawakoni will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Helen passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab. She was born in Hopkins County on December 16, 1937.
She was a bar owner/operator.
Survivors include: son, Ronnie Edward Bates and sister, Wanda Goodson of Sulphur Springs.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
