Hall, Alice

Alice Hall was born at tall timber ranch along rabbit creek in rural Perkins County,South Dakota to Earl and Gertrude Jones on April 10,1922.Alice loved music and learned to play the piano,accordion and violin. When her fiancee' Kirk Hall went to the Navy in 1942 she followed him and they were married in San Diego California in December 1942.After Alice graduated from Cosmetology School she traveled alone across the country from port to port following Kirk. Eventually they settled on the Hall ranch in SD and raised two children Bruce and Yvonne. Alice loved the Lord and was a long time member of the Presbyterian church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, her husband and her son Bruce. She moved to Texas in 2007 to live with her daughter Yvonne Weir.

Alice went to be with the Lord at Carriage House Manor on September 22,2012.

She is survived by her daughter Yvonne and husband Robert.Daughter in law- Lynn Hall of SD 6 grandchildren-Chancey Hall of Bison SD. Destri Weir, Dacy Weir Campbell and Mike,Dustin and Natalie Weir, Dakota Weir and Wesley Weir all of Texas.Also 4 great grand children.

There will be a memorial service at Color Blind Ministries Monday September 24 at 6 pm.

Her funeral will be held in S.D on Friday the 28.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Legacy Hospice , 301 Gilmer , Sulphur Springs TX.
