Funeral services for Esta Lee Morgan, age 92, of Livingston, formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at First Baptist Church in Spence Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., September 6, 2012, with Rev. Fred Lewis and Charlotte McDowell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, with James Bruner, Herb Bruner, Bob Goodman, Clyde Key, Woodrow Bishop, Jess Bishop and Ralph Pickrell serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be David Stinson and Jerry Brewer. Visitation will be held one and one half hour (12:30 p.m.) before the service at Spence Chapel.

Esta Lee Morgan passed away at The Bradford at Brookside in Livingston. She was born in Celeste on December 14, 1919, the daughter of Joseph Robert Lee Bishop and Elizabeth Abbigale (Byrd) Bishop. She married Rev. L. B. Morgan in Wolfe City, on August 15, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1997.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: daughter, Elaine Haney and husband, Jerry, of Cold Springs; son, Dr. Michael Morgan and wife, Dr. Terry Morgan, of Homewood, Alabama; grandchildren, Kristen Haney Jernigan and Jerry and Tiffany Haney Barton and Ryan and great-grandchildren, Tim and Erin Jernigan and Rebecca and Nathan Barton.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
