Fred Ray Cantrell Jr., age 76 of Point passed away August 24, 2012. He was born June 29, 1933, in Mabank to Fred Ray Sr.and Trudie Merle Lane Cantrell. Fred and his lovely bride were married in Mesquite on December 20, 1957.
Fred was retired from Texas Instruments and a retired owner-operator of a long haul truck. Fred served his country in the Army.
Fred is survived by his wife: Gladys Cantrell of Point; Son: Keith Cantrell and wife Debbie of McKinney; Daughter; Rhonda Brainsfield and husband Eric of Midwest City, OK; Sisters: Terry Galloway of Houston; and Kathy DeLoach of Houston. Grandchildren: Dustin Cantrell; Andrea Sampica; Kandece Brinlee; Jamie Mares, and 3 great-grandchildren.
No service planned.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
