
A memorial service for Jacque McCord, age 66, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012, with C. J. Duffey officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Jacque McCord passed away Tuesday morning, August 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 15, 1945, the daughter of Milburn Monroe McConnell and Ida Mae (Crouch) McConnell. She married Ronald McCord in Marathon, Florida on October 11, 1990; he survives.
She was a caregiver, beautician and cosmetology instructor and a member of Colorblind Ministries. She loved, she laughed, she lived.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Leslie Eppars and husband, Jay, Reggie Lynn Hawkins and husband, Mike, all of Sulphur Springs and Renee Larson and husband, Kevin of Florida; four sons, Richard Clay, Robert Jorgensen and wife Gena, all of Florida; Joe McCord and wife, Bonnie, of Sulphur Springs and Brad McCord of Pickton; brother, Harold Lee Bearce of Missouri; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rhonda Jorgenson; two sisters, Shirley Nelson and Joni Hansen and a baby boy, Charles Clay.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
