Funeral service for Sharon Spencer, 64 will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, at Emory Baptist Church. Bro. Billy Smith and Bro. Robert Burns, will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, July 26, 6 - 8 p.m. at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lone Star Cemetery. Mrs. Spencer died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 surrounded by her family at Baylor Medical Center Hospital in Dallas.
She was born February 8,1948 in Mesa, AZ to James K. and Dorothy Sue Rouse Donley.
Sharon was a school teacher for the Alba Golden ISD for 18 years. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She married Raymond Curtis Spencer, Jr. on January 21,1977, in Grand Prairie.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Spencer of Point; Son: Todd Spencer and wife Shabre of Round Rock. Daughters: Megan Smith and husband Jeff of Point, and Robin Spencer of Point. Step-daughter: Shannon Wendover and husband Chris of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Grandchildren: Chance and Payne Hoover; Blaze and Blade Spencer; Hayden Smith; Taylor Gindorf; and Jonathan Wendover. Numerous other family and friends.
