Funeral services for Juan Garcia, age 80, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Amadeo Miranda officiating. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 27, 2012 at Restlawn Memorial Park. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Juan Garcia passed away at his residence Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He was born in Villa de Juarez Coahuila, Mexico on March 30, 1932, the son of Nicholas Garcia and Genoveva Villanueva. He married Maria Lucila Cadena; she survives.
He was a retired landscaper and a member of Primera Mission Bautista Solo Cristo Salva.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Esperanza Garcia, of Sulphur Springs, Diana Garcia and Alma Llanas; seven sons, Felipe Garcia, Oscar Garcia, Victor Garcia, Juan A. Garcia, Jose Antonio Garcia, Fernando DeLeon and Enrique Garcia and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
