A funeral service for Melvina Delores Bryant, age 61, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Mitchell Chapel Church of God in Christ at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 with Superintendent Nelson Gatlin officiating. Interment will follow at Mel Haven Cemetery. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Melvina Delores Bryant passed away Thursday morning, July 12, 2012 at Rock Creek Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Ft. Worth September 18, 1950.
She was a member of Mitchell Chapel Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include: daughter, Denise Bryant of Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Ora Askew of Virginia, Mable Brown Griffin of Ft. Worth; brother, Johnny Brown of Houston and two grandchildren, Isaiah Bryant-Lasy and Jermond Bryant-Amos.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Melvin Perry.
Memorials may be made to the building fund of Mitchell Chapel Church of God in Christ.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
