Harris, Betty J.

Graveside services for Betty J. Harris of Sulphur Springs, formerly of Bossier City, LA, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 13, 2012 at Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville, AR. Mrs. Harris passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Harris was born on May 7, 1931 in Ottumwa, IA, the daughter of Leonard and Della (Backus) Dye. She married Ray D. Harris on April 2, 1950 in Ottumwa, IA. He survives.

Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Catherine Frazier and husband Gregg of Ohio and one sister, Shirley Gulick of IL, 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren all of Virginia.
