
Funeral services for Margaret Jean Vaden, 77, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2012, at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend H.B. Nash, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with Ryan Harrison, Lewis Harrison, Kelvin Harrison, Keith Ivery, Troy Ivery, and Adrian Godbolt serving as pallbearers.
Margaret Jean Vaden was born to the parents of Annie Mae Bogar and James Roseman on February 10, 1935 in Celeste, Texas. She departed life on June 19, 2012. Margaret moved to Sulphur Springs, Texas when she was thirteen and attended Douglas High School. She gave her life to Christ at an early age, and was a member of Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and the Missionary Society at the time of her passing.
She is survived by her mother, Annie Mae Roseman; one daughter, Mary A. Harrison; three sons, Michael C. Goodson (Rebecca), James A. Goodson, and Jeffery B. Vaden (Sonya); brother Michael Woods; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her father James Roseman and her husband Clarence Vaden.
Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
