A funeral service for Dwight Stewart, 65, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012, with Rev. Tommy Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery, with Tony Stewart, Lane Stewart, Zachary Stewart and James Long serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Melton Wetzel and Jean and Velma Rawson. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Dwight Stewart passed away Sunday night, June 10, 2012 at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab. He was born in Commerce, May 17, 1947, the son of Willis W. Stewart and Susie (Casey) Stewart.
He was a retired self-employed carpet layer and he was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include: son, Keith Stewart and wife, Marcie; sister, Sandra Parker, all of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Ronald Stewart of Arizona and Ricky Stewart of Holly Lake and grandchildren, Steven Lane Stewart, Zachary Aaron Stewart and Triston Cole Stewart.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
