Leo George Vogt, age 81, of Sulphur Springs passed away at his residence, Monday evening, June 4, 2012. He was born in Corn, Oklahoma, on April 26, 1931, the son of Henry J. Vogt and Mary (Penner) Vogt. He married Tammy Annette Meals in Sulphur Springs, on June 24, 2000; she survives.
He was a retired barber and truck driver. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Other survivors include: three sons, Montel Vogt, John Funderburk and Thomas Funderburk; brother, Arnold Vogt and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cremations arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
