Military Graveside Funeral services for Gerald Wayne (Popeye) Randolph, age 77 of Paris, formerly of Hopkins County will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery with Bro BJ Teer officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Bo Potts, Monte Randolph, Randy Randolph and Tot Herman . Visitation will be held thirty minutes (10:30 am) before the service at the cemetery.
Gerald Wayne (Popeye) Randolph passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Legend Healthcare of Paris. He was born in Sulphur Bluff on August 2, 1934 the son of Sip and Florence Holder Randolph.
Gerald served in the United States Army to honor his service the Hopkins County Military Coalition will conduct the Military Graveside.
Survivors include: daughter, Jerri K (Katie) Smith of Dallas; sisters, Patsy Potts and husband, Pat of Dike, Carolyn Choate and husband, Randy of Rockwall, and Theresa Tolland and husband, Mike of Sulphur Springs; brother, L.R. (Hoopie) Randolph of Paris; five grandchildren, Stefan Cannon, Brian Cannon, Craig Cannon, Jared Smith and Alexis Smith; three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Jackson, and Lilly Cannon; three step-daughters, Barbara Bernal of Dallas, Lynne Taylor of Gilmer, and Loydene Deberry of Bogata; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, brother, Sip Randolph Jr, and sister, Syble Taylor
