
David Frances Keeler, 89, of Point, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, at The Lodge of Colonial in Greenville.
Service will be Wednesday 10:00 AM, May 2, 2012 at Woosley Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Smith and Rev. Chris Thompson. A military burial will follow at Laurel Oaks Cemetery in Mesquite at 1:00 PM. Visitation Tuesday, May 1 from 5-7 PM at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
David was born in Rains County December 16, 1922. He was the son of Louie and Annie Harless Keeler. He married Eunice Ingvalson in Rockwall.
David was a farmer and rancher for many years before his retirement. He served his country proudly in the Navy. David loved being outdoors and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his nephews; Louie Hill and his wife Ann of Lawton, OK., Douglas Hill and wife Peggy of Amarillo, David Hill and wife Barbara of Altus, OK., Mickey Hill of Childress, Russell Sims of Scurry, and Joe Pope of Mesquite. Nieces; Sherri Hicks of Childress, and Ila Merle Sims of Scurry, plus numerous great-nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by; his parents, and two sisters; Alice Hill and Estelle Pope.
