		<description>Of course, this view of this part of SS is long gone, with the removal of the water tower, the station in the 'Y' and part of the street on the right.  Look at the old buildings on the north (left side) of Main Street.  This is a fabulous memory of our town.  Thanks for posting and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

		<description>Well, first of all, that looks to be what later became the Owens Brothers Used Car Lot, right by the water tower on Main Street, as Peavine used to say.  I think the old fire station is behind it.  The buildings in the back are in much better shape back then than they are today.  And the fellow in the middle looks familiar.  I realize that this is about 1920 something, but I would promise you that is Bill Bradford standing there with his microphone cutting a commercial.</description>
