Tennis Team Loses Playoff Chance

The Wildcats’ team tennis squad finished out of the playoffs after losing to Greenville, 15-4 Tuesday at home. Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez called it a tough evening. He added the team seemed to lack intensity early. The Wildcats ended up 3-4 in district play and 3-8 for the season. The Wildcats’ team tennis squad thoroughly enjoyed the experience of playing in the Area Tournament last year. To earn a repeat trip, the Wildcats will have to defeat Greenville at home Tuesday afternoon. Last year in a non-district match, the Wildcats won at Greenville, 10-9.
