Sulphur Springs High School Will Host its’ Annual Powerlifting Meet on Saturday

Wildcats Powerlifting Coach Jeremy Offutt expects to have 300 to 350 lifters at the annual Sulphur Springs Powerlifting Meet Saturday. Coach Offutt says the Wildcats should have 15 lifters including a couple of first time competitors. Veterans Jesse Ortiz and Scott Galarza are out with injuries. Considering that the Wildcats’ powerlifting team included seven freshmen, their first meet of the season Saturday at Lindale went really well according to Coach Jeremy Offutt.
