“Updated” Wildcats Survive a Tough Day at Work, Record Goes to 4-7

The Wildcats’ basketball team had a tough day Thursday at a Granbury tournament. The Wildcats opened with a close loss to Fort Worth Northside, 67-60. Jaylon Dugan had 18 points, Cain Cody 15, Ke’Ontae Dunn 13 and Bubba Hall 10. Then the Wildcats ran into a buzz saw in the form of host Granbury as the Wildcats took a 73-28 loss. Wildcats Lose to Royse City, Record Goes to 3-4

The Wildcats’ basketball team took a four-point lead into the fourth quarter at home against Royse City Tuesday night only to see the Bulldogs ride a big fourth quarter to a 49-44 win. The Bulldogs outscored the Wildcats 22-13 in the last quarter. Jaylon Dugan led all scorers with 24 points and Cain Cody added 10. The Wildcats are now 3-4. They’ll play in a Granbury tournament that begins Thursday.

Wildcats Lose in Opening Round

The Wildcats’ basketball team lost to Royse City, 67-34 in their opening game of a Royse City tournament Thursday. Wildcats Coach Clark Cipoletta said his team came out with a lack of intensity and shot poorly. The Wildcats were 0-15 from 3-point range and only 7 of 15 from the foul line.
