Third Quarter Dooms Lady Cats

A rough third quarter derailed the Lady Cats’ basketball team’s attempt at a big upset of highly rated Longview Tuesday night in Wildcats Gym. The Lady Lobos outscored the Lady Cats 24-3 in the third quarter on their way to a 62-45 win in the district opener for both teams. The Lady Cats’ basketball team will have to do without star point guard and leading scorer Desi Debase who is out, perhaps for the entire season, due to an ACL knee injury. “Updated” Wildcats Survive a Tough Day at Work, Record Goes to 4-7

The Wildcats’ basketball team had a tough day Thursday at a Granbury tournament. The Wildcats opened with a close loss to Fort Worth Northside, 67-60.
