Lady Cats In Tyler Championship Bracket Saturday

The Lady Cats’ volleyball team ran their winning streak to five matches by taking all three matches they played in pool play in a Tyler tournament Thursday.  The Lady Cats edged by Arp 2-1 in all close sets, downed West Hardin 2-0 and then rallied after losing a first set to defeat Sabine, 2-1.  The Lady Cats advance into the Championship Bracket.  They’ll continue play Saturday.  The Lady Cats are now 14-6 for the season....

Hawks Outscore Wildcats 43-17 at Prim Friday Night

The Wildcats’ football team hung with Rockwall-Heath for half of the season opener Friday night at Prim Stadium.  The score at the half was Rockwall-Heath 22 and Sulphur Springs 17.  Then the Hawks dominated the second half on both sides of the ball to take a 43-17 win.
