Lady Cat Softball Sink Pine Tree 13-3

The Lady Cats’ softball team scored in every inning as they defeated Pine Tree, 13-3 in five innings at Lady Cat Park Monday night.  The Lady Cats had five run innings in the first and third.  Molly Johnston went three for three and her double drove in three runs.  Kasey Moore hit a home run.  Summer Wyatt got the pitching win.  The Lady Cats are 5-2 in district play.  They open the second half at Longview Friday. Wildcat Baseball 4-0 in District

SSHS Track Teams Win at Paris Meet

SSHS Wildcat varsity, junior varsity and Lady Cat varsity track teams won their divisions in a meet in Paris Thursday overcoming windy conditions and stiff competition. Other teams present represented Mt Pleasant, Denison, Sherman, Paris, Clarksville, and Greenville. Wildcat varsity, junior varsity, and Lady Cat Sprint Relay teams won. Lady Cats Pound Greenville 17-1

The Lady Cats’ softball team pounded Greenville, 17-1 Tuesday to improve their district record to 4-0.  The Lady Cats are now 10-2 for the season.  They are tied for first with Hallsville. Follis Hurls 7-0 Shutout

Once again Tuesday night Wildcats junior pitcher Tyler Follis was sharp twirling a four-hit shutout as the Wildcats topped Greenville, 7-0 at Eagle Stadium.  Follis had 12 strikeouts and no walks.  The Wildcats had 8 hits, many of them timely, to plate their seven runs.  With Monday night’s 8-0 win at Mt.
