Lady Cats’ Volleyball Team lost 3-0 to Hallsville Friday

The Lady Cats’ volleyball team lost 3-0 to Hallsville Friday in Wildcats Gym but Coach Allison Irvin noted that the Lady Cats played very well at the end of set two losing that one only 25-23. Wildcats quarterback Larry Pryor had another phenomenal night against Hallsville Friday with 232 yards rushing with four touchdowns and 9 of 12 passing with two drops for 137 yards. It’s a big week for the Wildcats and Lady Cats’ cross country teams as their district meet takes place Tuesday in Mt. Pleasant. The Lady Cats will run at 9 a.m. and then the Wildcats will compete at 9:45 a.m. The top three teams and top ten individuals qualify for regional competition in Grand Prairie on November 1.
