The Sulphur Springs High School Choir will be performing a concert in First Baptist Church on Monday, October 6. For several years now First Baptist Church missionary Roy Smith and missionary translator Christina Matkina have visited KSST’s Good Morning Show with Enola Gay. They were back Tuesday. Smith was one of the first missionaries to Russia in 1990. In 1995 Ms. Matkina was led to Christ and now works to spread the gospel to villages in and around her hometown of Shadrinsk. The Lone Star Heritage Quilt Guild’s Fifteenth Annual Quilt Show is coming up this Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at The ROC of First Baptist Church.
