A record number of cooks, 154 in all, will be competing at the 45th annual World Champion Stew Contest next Saturday. There is a good possibility that this year’s Stew Contest on October 25 will be a record setter for number of stew pots. There are about 144 currently. According to KSST accounts, that matches the previous high set in 2012.
