Rainfall Deficit Continues To Climb

Another drier than normal month added to the rainfall deficit in Sulphur Springs in June. Recorded rainfall at the city Water Treatment Plant in June was only 2.64 inches, two inches below average. The current rain deficit for the first six months of the year is 8.1 inches. Average for the first six months is 24.33 inches and Sulphur Springs has received only 16.23 inches.
