Wildcats’ Tennis Squad Loses Their District Opener to Longview

The Wildcats’ team tennis squad lost their district opener to Longview Tuesday in Sulphur Springs, 19-0. Despite the loss, Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez said his team competed. He was also impressed with their resilience, getting up after being knocked down. The Wildcats will play Jacksonville in a non-district match Saturday in Lindale. A schedule Saturday afternoon match in Van is expected to be postponed for one week. In district play, the Wildcats will travel to Hallsville next Tuesday.
