A family band, The Birthright Blues Project, plays every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at Muddy Jakes Backyard. The band features 13-year old D.R. Diamond on lead guitar and vocals, father Diamond Jack on guitar and vocals, mother Élan on bass and sister Danni on drums. Besides their regular gig, the band plans to perform in Commerce and at the Biscuit Blues Festival in Arkansas. D.R. and Diamond Jack were guests on KSST’s Good Morning Show with Enola Gay Friday morning.
