Deputy Scott Makes Multiple Arrests Tuesday

Tuesday Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputy Joe Scott arrested a man for theft of a trailer and three people for stealing a pickup truck. Working on a tip, Deputy Scott found a stolen trailer in the 600 block of Whitworth Street. It had been stolen from the 200 block of Whitworth last Wednesday. A suspect claimed he had bought the trailer but later he admitted to stealing it. 22-year old Pablo Emanuel Bonilla of Sulphur Springs was charged with theft over $1,500. JP Yvonne King set bond at $5,000
Deputy Scott later stopped three people in a truck on County Road 4784 for a faulty license plate light. The truck had been reported stolen from Kaufman County. 25-year old Malinda Katharine Clark of Greenville, 30-year old Joshua Dewayne Hines of Sulphur Springs and 24-year Jake Dalton Vann of Commerce were all charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. JP Yvonne King set bond on each at $5,000.
