City Hall Rededication Recap

The rededication of new City Hall and 100th birthday party for the old Post Office Building Tuesday went off almost without a hitch. No one brought a ribbon to cut at the end of the event. Fortunately the Chamber of Commerce was able to come up with one. Mayor Freddie Taylor presided, County Judge Robert Newsom gave the invocation, State Representative Dan Flynn gave the city a flag that flew over the State Capitol, plaques on the building were unveiled and pictures of former and current mayors and council members were taken.
