City Hall: A 100th Birthday

City Hall: A 100th Birthday will be celebrated Tuesday, July 15 and the whole city is invited to the celebration. Citizens of Sulphur Springs will celebrate their New City Hall while celebrating the 100 birthday of the building that was originally the old post office. The building opened as the post office in July 1914 and will officially open as the city hall with ceremonies on the front steps of the building next Tuesday. Sulphur Springs Mayor Freddy Taylor and City Councilman John Sellers announced the celebration to KSST news Thursday morning in the conference room of the New City Hall.
