A 35-year old Sulphur Springs man was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance Sunday night. Lawmen, who responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of Church Street, found 13.1 grams of methamphetamine, quite a few pills and some marijuana. A former Sulphur Springs ISD Police Officer, 30-year old William Nathan Gaddis of Sulphur Springs is serving a 90-day sentence in County Jail after entering a guilty plea Thursday in District Court to a reduced charge of reckless bodily injury to a child.
