Wildcats’ Team Tennis Squad Has Hallsville on Tuesday

The Wildcats’ team tennis squad, 0-1 in district play, has a tough assignment as they attempt to even their district record this week. The Wildcats hit the road to play Hallsville Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. The Wildcats may make up a non-district match that was originally scheduled for this past Saturday afternoon at Van. The match may take place this coming Saturday.

The Lady Cats’ volleyball team, 7-8 this season, will continue to prepare for the start of district play with a road match and a tournament this week. The Lady Cats have a non-district match at Paris Tuesday at 6 p.m. They’ll play in a Mt. Vernon tournament this Thursday and Saturday.

The Lady Cats’ volleyball team won a second set to tie their match with Mt. Vernon, 1-1 last Thursday night at home. The Wildcats’ football team stayed close to highly ranked Rockwall-Heath for three quarters Friday night before the Hawks finally seemed to wear the Wildcats down at the end. Lady Cats Volleyball Team Improves to 7-8

The Lady Cats’ volleyball team played well Thursday evening and earned a 3-1 win over Mt. Vernon in Wildcats Gym. After dropping set one, 25-18, the Lady Cats rallied to take a close set two 25-21.
