800 Potholes Fixed

Sulphur Springs City Manager Marc Maxwell estimates city work crews have fixed 800 potholes in the city. He says that’s about half of a list of potholes called in by the public. Crews have also been making repairs behind utility cuts on streets. During August, the street crew will take time out to rebuild Rogers Street. New Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez had a good turnout as 40 to 45 kids attended the first day of his five-day tennis camp. Wildcats Marching Band’s Percussion and Color Guard got a Four-Day Jump

The Wildcats Marching Band’s percussion and color guard got a four-day jump on the rest of the band as they opened a weeklong camp Monday morning. The entire band will get together Friday.
