Wildcats Team Tennis Season Opener

The Wildcats co-ed Team Tennis Squad opened its’ season Tuesday with a non-district loss at Lindale to Kilgore, 16-3. It was the first match for new Wildcats Tennis Coach Tony Martinez. Ladycats Drop Home Opener

The Lady Cats’ volleyball team dropped their home opener to North Lamar, 3-0 at Wildcats Gym Tuesday night. The Lady Cats played the Pantherettes tougher as the evening progressed but North Lamar won 25-17, 25-19 and 25-23. North Lamar, ranked #8 in Class 4A, improved to 7-1 for the season. Tuesday Hopkins County Sheriff’s deputy Joe Scott arrested a man for theft of a trailer and three people for stealing a pickup truck.
