KSST Radio Begins New Era

On Friday morning, KSST radio began a new music format, Good Times Oldies, music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. It replaces an Adult Standards format. KSST Station Manager Jim Rogers talked about the change on KSST’s Good Morning Show with Enola Gay Friday morning. Sulphur Springs Police Department Personnel Changes

The Sulphur Springs Police Department has made the last personnel move necessary due to the departure of Chief Jim Bayuk who began as a Sulphur Springs ISD Police Officer Friday. The Police Department has hired Zach Brown, a Sulphur Springs native, as a Patrol Officer. Brown currently works for the Mt. Pleasant Police Department. He’ll start in Sulphur Springs September 1. Former Sulphur Springs ISD Police Officer Sent to Jail

A former Sulphur Springs ISD Police Officer, 30-year old William Nathan Gaddis of Sulphur Springs is serving a 90-day sentence in County Jail after entering a guilty plea Thursday in District Court to a reduced charge of reckless bodily injury to a child.
